I made it over to the "pre-conference" kick-off around 5:30 to collect my badge.  The registration lines were packed.  Of course it is worth it to pick up the uber MAX bag, MAX water bottle, notebook, and copy of Adobe Visual Communicator 3 (no idea what this is, but it's free!)

There were also some notes about different contests, such as making Flex components for some vendor.

Lots of folks mingling and eating cheese and stuff in the conference center atm.  They are also playing some presentation.  One item of interest on the presentation slides is a list of companies implementing products in Adobe's new AIR platform.   Of those I remember are:
